To my bobo

Today I went through the finances of the 2 properties with your father. And as usual, he is defensive and trying to wriggle his way out of payment.
When we had 1 property, we were paying $x each.
When I paid for his shares to let him buy property 2, he was still paying $x while I was paying $x x 2.
The funny thing is, he keeps thinking property 2 belongs to him alone and kept saying next time he is going to stay there if i kick him out.
It's even funnier that he thinks I am so stupid that I took up a bigger loan to let him do that?
He is having free dinners at my mother house daily and didn't think to contribute anything.

Many years ago before we got married, when he was studying part-time, he asked me for $5000 to loan him for his study.
When I asked for it back years later, he said "I thought you sponsor me?"
It's weird that i have to almost beg for my own money back.

And when he pumped petrol, he will always ask me to pay $10, out of the $60 he paid.

Dear Wei En, it is not right of me to say bad things about your father to you. I apologise.
But I want to highlight to you, if a guy shows cheapo signs like this, you need to stay far away from him.
I was not a calculative person. Because of him, I was forced to, in order to protect myself from being taken advantage of financially.
Your partner should be someone who makes you become a better version of yourself, and also tries to make himself better, and the family better.
You should not think that he is entitled to anything you own. Your things are yours, unless he is sharing his with yours.
There is no need to feel like you need to contribute until there is 50-50 because he is supposed to pamper you.
And if he did you wrong, just leave him. Because old habits die hard.

Mummy wish you will have the wisdom to identify the good men, and strength to leave the bad ones.
